Stryker has its roots in making healthcare better through science and innovation. Our founder, Dr. Homer Stryker, was an orthopaedic surgeon who was driven to invent new solutions that addressed unmet patient needs. His drive and passion to deliver high quality medical care lives on in the hearts and minds of Stryker employees around the world today. At the heart of what we do and believe is making healthcare better. We do this by collaborating with our customers to develop innovative products and services that ultimately improve the lives of patients. Our core values guide our behaviors and actions. These values are part of our DNA and are fundamental to how we execute our mission. biography

My name is Dan Leidl. I have now been in the medical device Industry for 23-years, working only for Stryker Canada. My two degrees focus on Health Science, with my master’s focusing on Hip Fractures and Rehabilitative Medicine. Before being introduced to Stryker my previous goal while completing my education was to become a surgeon. After being introduced and recruited into the medical device industry my eyes were opened to a new world within healthcare…an area I did not know existed and few people have a chance to see. Being apart of one of the largest medical device companies in the world I’ve had a chance to work and collaborate with many of our divisions, helping to develop new products and introduce our technology to many of our HCPs, helping make their medical practices better, ultimately benefiting their patients and society as a whole.
